The Work of CRFIM/RMIFC
The Regional Maritime Information Fusion Center (RMIFC), known in French as Centre Régional de Fusion d'Informations Maritimes (CRFIM), operates under the framework of the Indian Ocean Commission to enhance maritime domain awareness across the African, Indian Ocean, and Oceanian regions.
Our comprehensive approach combines advanced technology, international collaboration with 11 countries, and robust operational strategies to address the myriad challenges faced in the maritime domain through information fusion and sharing.
Our Mission
The CRFIM collects, merges, analyzes, and shares maritime information to provide a comprehensive maritime picture. We support national and regional authorities in their maritime security operations through timely and accurate intelligence products.
